SOFRESH DARTIST
DeQuise Lashae Maxwell, better known as, SoFresh DArtist, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, and engineer from Greensboro, NC.

She started coming into her talents at the age of 8. By 2004 at age 14, she had formed her own girl group named, Desire, comprised of her best friend, Courtney "Afrodyke" Knight, her cousin, Amber Cornelius, and herself. The group had 3 breakout songs, including the infamous "House Party", which got them noticed by a local record label, Hit 'Em Hard Entertainment. The group disbanded over contractual differences in 2007.

SoFresh DArtist, who at the time was going by her middle name, Shae, started a solo career, and came out strong with her first single as a solo artist, "Let's Chill". Which got her tv appearances and a mini tour on the East Coast. Since going solo, she and Afrodyke, still collaborate and do many songs together.

She has since started her own Recording Studio and Record Label known as, SoFresh Music Entertainment Group. She has artists on her label from all aspects of life including, Afrodyke and Ejustis to name a few.

SoFresh is a versatile artist with songs out that range from R&B to Gospel Rap. Her newest album "Number One" is a breakout R&B chart topper that is pushing her up the R&B charts and she has plenty more to come.
